OverChord application

The OverChord desktop application does not access the Internet and does not collect or transmit personal data.

Website

The website itself is static. The optional feedback form may collect the information you submit.

Purposes and legal bases of processing

For OverChord Web, account data is processed to enable registration, authentication, including through Google if chosen by the user, and access to personal features, including the Chord Reference and saved settings. Email communications are used exclusively for account and service management. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract with the user (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), insofar as it is necessary to provide the requested features. Feedback submitted through OverChord Desktop or OverChord Web is processed to identify bugs and evaluate software improvements, based on the controller's legitimate interest in maintaining and improving OverChord (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Feedback is not automatically associated with user accounts. Personal data is not used to send advertising or promotional communications.

Password protection

Passwords of registered users are not stored in plain text. They are protected using secure password hashing, allowing them to be verified without storing them in a directly readable form.

External providers

You can sign in to OverChord Web using your Google account. When you do, OverChord receives your email address and, if provided, your display name, and associates your OverChord account with your Google account. Google handles the authentication process according to its Privacy Policy: Google Privacy Policy .

Conservazione e cancellazione dei dati

I dati dell'account vengono conservati finché l'account rimane attivo. Quando l'utente elimina il proprio account, i dati dell'account e quelli collegati vengono cancellati dal database applicativo. I feedback inviati sono gestiti separatamente e seguono i tempi di conservazione indicati nella sezione Feedback.

Feedback

Information submitted through the Feedback form is sent to the website API and stored in Azure Table Storage. No email address is requested or stored. Feedback is retained for a maximum of 12 months and then automatically deleted.

Puoi inoltre revocare il consenso, quando il trattamento si basa sul consenso, senza pregiudicare la liceità del trattamento effettuato prima della revoca.
